The Seychelles Maritime Safety Authority is a regulatory and supervisory body within the Ministry of Transport, responsible for ensuring maritime safety and security, as well as pollution prevention. As per the Access to Information Act, 2018, Capt. Daniel Adan is the Head of Information and Mr. Andy Gobine is the Information Officer.
The Information Officer is responsible for handling access to information requests, in line with the procedures set in the Access to Information Act, 2018. This includes providing information retained by the SMSA, subject to the provisions and limitations of the Act.
An access to information can be made to the Information Officer in line with the procedures set in the Act and subject to the provisions and limitations of that Act.
As part of its commitment to transparency and accountability, the SMSA publishes an annual report that outlines its activities, achievements, and challenges.
