Seychelles Maritime Week 2024 is poised to be the premier maritime transport event in the Indian Ocean region, taking place in Seychelles from Tuesday, September 24,to Thursday, September 26, at the esteemed Savoy Seychelles Resort & Spa. This notable conference and exhibition aims to highlight Seychelles’s position as the ‘Preferred Regional Maritime Gateway’ for the Indian Ocean. Organized by the Seychelles Port Authority, the event has garnered official support from the Port Management Association of Eastern and Southern Africa (PMAESA) and the Association of Indian Ocean Islands Ports (APIOI).
Representing the Seychelles Maritime Safety Authority at the event are Deputy Chief Executive Officer Mr. Andy Gobine, Captain Marc Hoareau, who serves as an Examiner – Deck/Flag State Surveyor/Port State Control Officer, and Ms. Angelique Vidot, Senior Surveyor from the Praslin office.
