Seychelles Maritime Safety Legislative Workshop with District Administrators

As part of its ongoing program to educate the public about the role of the Seychelles Maritime Safety Authority. A half day workshop session was held today with all district administrators from the Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs. The workshop took place at the Roche Caiman District Administration. The topic discussed was the current laws, international conventions that Seychelles is a member of, fines and penalties for illegal maritime activities, maritime safety and surveys. District administrators who were present were given the opportunity to ask for more clarifications on matters related to maritime safety and security.
